School-Based Community-Based Rehabilitation Services (CBRS) Professional

A Role That Supports Student Growth and Success
At Care Options for Kids, our school-based CBRS Professionals play an important role in helping students develop the skills they need to participate successfully in school and everyday life. This role is designed for professionals who are patient, proactive, collaborative, and passionate about helping students build independence, strengthen social and functional skills, and achieve meaningful goals.
In this position, you’ll work directly with students to provide individualized skills-building and rehabilitation services based on identified needs and goals. You’ll support students in developing areas such as social interaction, emotional and behavioral regulation, communication, problem-solving, coping strategies, independence, and other functional skills. You’ll monitor student progress, maintain accurate documentation, and collaborate with teachers, school staff, families, and other members of the student’s support team.

Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with children, preferably in a behavioral health, developmental, educational, or special education setting
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication, documentation, and progress-monitoring skills
- Ability to implement individualized skills-building strategies and support functional goals
- Ability to use proactive problem-solving strategies and respond appropriately to behavioral or emotional needs
- Ability to respond to crisis situations in accordance with established safety plans and student support plans
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and safely respond to physical behaviors when required
