Homecare Registered Nurse

As an Homecare Registered Nurse with Care Options for Kids, you’ll provide one-on-one, in-home pediatric care that allows for meaningful impact without the fast pace of a hospital setting. In your first year, you’ll be expected to deliver compassionate, skilled nursing based on individualized care plans often including trach, vent, or G-tube care while collaborating closely with families and clinical supervisors. Success will be measured by your clinical competency, consistency, and ability to build trust with patients and families. Responsibilities of Registered Nurses (RNs)
- Medication administration per physician orders
- Physician ordered treatments for:
- Nutrition via a feeding tube
- Tracheostomy care
- Suctioningnasal, oral and/or endotracheal
- Ventilation care
- Seizure assessment and treatment
Requirements for Registered Nurses (RNs)
- Current, active Florida RN license
- Current BLS CPR card (obtained in-person, not online)
- G-tube, trach, vent experience, or willing to train
- TB Skin Test (PPD) or TB Blood Test (QF)
- Alzheimer's training - 2 Hour DOEA Approved Course (provided at no cost if needed)
- 1- Hour DOEA Alzheimer's Video (provided free of cost on DOEA website)

Salary:
$30.00 - $34.00 / hour(After their parents) you have to be the next person in line to provide that special care for their child. Just make sure you have the compassion and love in your heart to take care of these kids, because these kids need us.
